Took my son her for an ice cream today having not been here before, pleasent staff, comfy chairs, reasonable prices. Can't complain, will very likely return.

Come rain or shine, it’s a fab place to eat…food is brilliant and plenty of it. Staff are always smiling. Just today I saw one of the staff Layla, feeding an elderly customer, you can’t get better service than that! Priceless.

Unbelievably tasty, amazingly cooked, freshest of freshly prepared food I have eaten in a restaurant in a long time. Lakeview vegetarian eggs Benedict with freshest smoothie followed by best cappuccino ever.Generous portions, kind and reasonable prices combined with the cleanest environment I have visited since I can’t remember when, make this palace in the park unmissable and unforgettable.No wonder there are so many regular customers. I can’t wait for a repeat visit when I am or even just near/passing through the area next!Well done to the amazing family that owns and runs this place and their team!6 stars upwards in my opinion. Go you will not be disappointed!

Had a lovely cup of hot chocolate with cream accompanied with two slices of toast (good bread too btw, not your standard cheap bread that a lot of cafes sadly use!) and two poached eggs with bacon (extra). Eggs were cooked perfectly. Bacon was good too, nice & crispy. Seats at the table were comfortable & thanks to the large sliding windows, a very well-lit place. The staff here are friendly & we were served our food very quickly! Dogs also welcome in here. Can’t complain!

Lovely cafe by the lake serving reasonably priced British food. A plus is that the cafe is dog friendly and it’s such a great chance to refuel and warm up after a long dog-training session in the park. Remember to bring cash with you because they are currently operating cash only.

Very nice atmosphere, nice little cafe in the park. Good for after a long walk to go there and eat. Prices and portions are very good. Under 10 for roast lamb that was nice and tender. English breakfast really good quality sausage and bacon. I was surprised at the prices. Service was quick and staff were friendly. 10/10 will go again, nice and warm inside. Dog friendly, place was clean.
